This involves cleaning, preparing meals, companionship, and personal care, all while following safe working practices and respecting the privacy and dignity of clients.Essential Requirements:Caring nature and good communication skillsClean driving license and own transportAbility to work set shifts with flexibilityAbout the roleKey ResponsibilitiesPractical Assistance: Support clients with meal preparation and food-related tasks. Provide domestic help as needed, including shopping, medication administering, ordering and collecting.Promote Well-being: Encourage mental and physical activity for clients to enhance their quality of life.Administrative Duties: Accurately record time sheets and care plans. Make verbal or written reports to the Homecare Office as required.Personal Care Support: Assist clients with personal care, ensuring hygiene and comfort. Maintain cleanliness of personal care items and hygiene areas.Training and Development: Attend training sessions, team meetings, and supervision sessions. Work towards a QCF (NVQ Level 2) in care and the Care Certificate for CQC registration.Compliance and Safety: Follow Guild Care's policies and procedures, including Health and Safety regulations. Wear the provided uniform and ID badge during work.Professional Conduct: Act as a role model in providing good care practice and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
