PermanentRef: LA508Are you willing to assist Dacorum Borough Council in its initiatives to improve the lives of those who live and work within our Borough?Dacorum Borough Council operates successful Community Control Centre monitoring a range of services including Closed Circuit Television Cameras.The key to success depends on those employed in the control room. The control room operates 24 hour a day, 365 days a year.We are looking for a keen enthusiastic person with good observation and computer skills. The job is primarily to operate the CCTV system and other equipment (radio links), but will include other duties such as the recording of information, writing reports and other basic administration tasks.The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours on a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.An SIA qualification in CCTV is essential.A check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.The deadline for applications will be midnight on the closing date shown in the advert details.
