The community coach role requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable with delivering a range of both curriculum and non-curriculum-based sessions. Some sessions may run in the evening. The individual will be based at Peel Park Primary School (in Bradford) supporting the upskilling of staff, working to the long-term PE plan of the school. The individual will be required to undertake extra-curricular clubs, mainly after-school.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
? Deliver targeted physical activity interventions/PE Lessons that are structured, progressive, enjoyable, high quality and participant centred.
? To ensure all sessions are planned, reviewed and delivered to a high standard.
? To undertake administrative tasks related to the post, including, but not limited too, taking registers, consent forms and uploading data to Salesforce.
? Oversee health and safety management of sessions.
? Work alongside other coaches and management to ensure high quality of sessions.
? To maintain, store and return all equipment on completion of your work with Bradford City F.C. Community Foundation.
? Support Bradford City F.C. Community Foundation with delivering the aims, objectives and targets of the organisation.
? Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and communications.
? Represent Bradford City FC Community Foundation in a positive light at all times.
? Work within the ethos and values of Bradford City FC Community Foundation and ensure these are embedded into delivery.
? An ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written (including electronically)
? Being organised and reliable
? A passion and enjoyment for working with children and young people
? Being committed and driven to the aims and objectives of the Community Foundation
? An awareness and understanding of all Community Foundation policies
? Full, clean UK Driving License
? Experience working in a safeguarding environment
Desirable:
? AFPE Level 3 or PESS Lever 3
? Sport specific Level 3 (e.g. UEFA B licence)
? HLTA Level 4
? FA Youth Modules
? Have an understanding of the Premier League Primary Stars programme
