: This role is central to raising and maintaining a positive profile of Speller Metcalfe, both internally and externally.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNABILITY:
Identify and write content for external communication materials including press releases, awards, e-shots and LinkedIn articles;
Support in the delivery of internal communications including company newsletters, e-shots and employee engagement initiatives;
Plan and deliver weekly social media updates;
Manage and enhance email distribution lists (news and events);
Update the company website and intranet (news and content);
Support the Communications & Engagement Manager in crisis management training and delivery;
Both support and manage the delivery of internal and external events;
Media monitoring;
Support employee engagement initiatives;
Work with a variety of departments and teams (e.g. HR, SHEQ) to produce content and support communications;
Report on communications activities bi-monthly;
Consider how to drive company values and objectives within communications such as introduction of innovative ideas;
Undertake training as required by the role.
