Job Description

You will be joining an exciting Communications team to handle the PR aspect of things such creating press releases, briefings for interviews, media relations and maintaining relationships with sections of press. You will also be dealing a lot with financial and corporate news so a background in these areas is beneficial.

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Creation and production of digital content, including copywriting for social channels and website, sourcing or production of visual media for digital use.

• Managing the creation and production of marketing content, including paid content, digital templates for use in bank-wide presentations, official reports, branded collateral for events, owning the image/video library, and overseeing use of brand guidelines.

• Creation of media materials, including press releases, Q&As, gathering relevant information from teams across the business.

• Support with creative planning across the team - ideas generation for content used across media and digital portfolio.

• Monitoring and analysing content, including analysing and tracking media coverage and digital footprint, and creation of quarterly evaluation dashboard and daily media summary.

• Supporting planning and delivery of online, hybrid and in person media events.

• Ownership of media contact lists - ensuring they are up-to-date, adding in new titles as required, creating bespoke lists for each campaign.

• Managing press office inbox, acting as the first port of call and escalating queries as necessary to relevant team member.
• Setting up and managing subscriptions on behalf of the team, working with procurement to ensure timely renewals, as required.

The successful candidate should have:

• 3 years experience working within PR
• A basic understand of digital communications
• Ideally a financial services background but not essential
