We offer hybrid working Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office (there is flexibility if necessary)We have an excellent opportunity for a Communications professional to encourage community engagement through transparent and compelling communications across a range of print and digital platforms.You will help to raise the profile of the Society for Endocrinology and Bioscientifica clients, creating engaging written and visual content that ensure that our communities of researchers, doctors and nurses who specialize in hormones are kept updated on relevant activities and opportunities. Youll be tasked with working closely with internal teams to understand our audiences, activities and channels, including our website and social media channels. In this varied role, youll also be expected to highlight the stories of our members through content for the Societys magazine xe2x80x98The Endocrinologist and blog, . Confident and articulate, you will build and maintain positive relationships with our committee members, media ambassadors, journalists and other relevant organisations and act as a press officer at selected events.You will be confident, driven, and have experience of working in a Communications with a genuine passion for drawing out stories and working hard to deliver complex and sometimes timely briefs. We'd like someone who is social media savvy and able to work across multiple platforms. With experience of effectively using digital marketing techniques and platforms, including social media, email marketing and website CMS, you have strong copy writing skills. Youll be creative and able to write accurate and engaging copy for a variety of audiences, demonstrating strong editing and proofreading skills. Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you had a background / education or experience within a scientific or healthcare environment.If you are interested in this role but your past experience may not quite align with every requirement, we would strongly encourage you to apply.
