Communications and Events Officer

A leading educational establishment seek a dynamic communications and events officer, dedicated to promoting core support services and wellbeing initiatives to both staff and students. Collaborating with the Wellbeing Promotion Team, you will execute a dedicated program of wellbeing interventions and events, enhancing student health, wellbeing, university transition, and welcome experiences.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent branding and messaging in Student Services materials
• Create a plan and schedule for communication and awareness campaigns
• Update Student Services website and online resources
• Design materials for campaigns (both physical and digital)
• Assist with social media campaigns
• Create newsletters for students and internal staff updates
• Write and publish news items and announcements
• Analyse engagement data
• Support event planning and coordination
• Attend and coordinate Student Services at open and applicant visit days

• Computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, email, content management experience in communications or marketing
• Writing and publishing content
• Website and digital content maintenance
• Experience in higher education or student-facing roles
• Involvement in well-being event planning and delivery
• Experience in designing and promoting events
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
