Looking for an Communications Digital Officer, based in London. For a leading Government organisation.
Design content for Website (including guidance, blogs, or case updates) that is engaging, fully accessible and clear, and advise on how it should be shared with our users.
Draft and deliver creative digital communications plans that use a range of engaging content and ideas to help communicate our work (including drafting posts, taking photos and videos and other content).
Take an active role in the regular review and evaluation of the digital content, ensuring users\' needs are met and our content is accessible.
Advise colleagues across the on appropriate digital approaches, in line with our content design and publishing standards.
Oversee the regular monitoring, evaluation and analysis of digital communications plans, providing insight and opportunities to improve.
Act as content designer for a variety of digital and document content, including:
reviewing existing copy and suggesting improvements;
creating new content on website;
ensuring we meet the required accessibility standards
Work closely with other colleagues in the wider Strategy Communications and Advocacy directorate to ensure the delivery of the communications plan.
Publish market-sensitive content out of hours where required.
Looking for a Communications Digital Officer|Contract for 6 months with the possibility of extension!
Experience of designing or writing content for the web that meets users\' needs, and is accessible to all
Ability to engage with internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure that they use the best digital channels to reach target audiences.
Experience working with documents and webpages on a busy, complex website.
Experience of developing plans for social media content, including use of video, design and other engaging tools.
