What are we looking for?
Reporting to the Communications Lead, the Communications Associate will help to organise and coordinate a mix of internal communications and social media activities to promote Cleveland Clinic London amongst a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The postholder will have a general understanding of social media and internal communications planning, execution and implementation of best practices, and demonstrate a flexible approach to their role that reflects the changing needs of a fast-paced environment. The postholder will have proven experience of writing and editing. We anticipate that c. 20% of the role will be dedicated to social media, 80% to communications (primarily internal with some external).
What will your duties include?
Work with the Communications Lead to support a wide range of communications activity. This will mainly focus on the internal caregiver audience and include management of the intranet (creating and posting content, reviewing data to optimise).
Create content to support communications campaigns, including the creation of newsletters (internal and external). Produce copy that is optimised for different platforms and formats.
Produce editorial content and complete communication projects in support of Cleveland Clinic London\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities that inform, inspire and educate caregivers.
Assist with internal communications opportunities as required to maximise impact. To include delivery of company-wide meetings, leadership meetings and a weekly newsletter.
Work closely and collaborate with US based communication and digital teams to drive forward London opportunities and provide local market insight.
Intentionally integrate Cleveland Clinic standards in all communications.
Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Lead in the development, execution and evaluation of comprehensive social media strategies, aimed at health professional, consumer, corporate and other audiences.
Deliver social media content to quickly increase traffic, followers and impact. Manage editorial plans, including creating/curating, scheduling and targeting content in line with audience/user needs.
Assist with the management of social media channels, which may include creative planning, posting, copywriting, managing digital campaigns and partnerships with influencers.
Monitor performance of channels across organic and paid activity. Assist in the creation and development of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports, including insights and recommendations. Use social listening/measurement/insight tools and dashboards to generate and share content.
What we need from you?
Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications or related field preferred
Ability to speak and write in English is required
Significant experience within marketing and communications campaign development and execution, either in an agency environment or commercial organisation with ambitious growth targets
A demonstrable track record of social media/communications campaign development and execution, either in an agency environment or commercial organisation with ambitious growth targets.
Track record of taking a lead role in managing corporate social media channels and platforms, including content development and campaign planning.
Database management and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience within a healthcare useful but not essential.
Exceptional written, verbal and active listening communication.
Experienced in creative development and copywriting.
