HRGO are looking for an experience Communications and PR Manager to join a very successful and well know charity.
The successful candidate will be working as part if a very busy and fast pace marketing and communications team. The main objective is to raise the profile of the charity and they work that they do via organisational news, updates and developments to internal and external audiences.
This position offers hybrid work and will require some weekend work, along with travelling to different locations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the charity internal communications
Support our People team to attract excellent and talented individuals
Manage and develop the new intranet
Manage and create engaging content for internal and external communication channels.
Support fundraising team with all communications and PR needs to reach their financial targets
Line manage the communications Coordinator
Be first point of contact for all media issues
Write and oversee content to ensure high quality and consistency
Be available out of hours and weekends (as part of the communications team rota)
Requirements
Previous experience in a communications role
Provide ability to build strong and effective relationships
Understanding of various channels of internal communications
Excellent IT skills
Strong project management skills
Experience in working and communicating with senior managers
High level of attention to detail
Positive and flexible attitude
High level of integrity and professionalism
Strong team ethic
Full driving licence with access to vehicle - due to location
