Job Description

Lead delivery of the communication strategy supporting Equinor\xe2\x80\x99s broad energy portfolio in the UK.

Work in collaboration with the UK Communication Manager to advise senior management and provide strategic and operational communication support to the UK business.

Contribute to the development and execution of our media strategy, including preparation of messaging and media briefs for senior management.

Develop compelling story-telling content to support increased engagement on various external and internal communication channels including press releases, content for social media and websites, presentations.

Identify and drive proactive engagement opportunities with relevant political, industry and community stakeholders in collaboration with the wider UK communication team.

Lead the planning and coordination of key conferences, events and sponsorships.

Be responsible for Equinor\xe2\x80\x99s UK emergency response communication strategy.

University degree in relevant field of communication, marketing, business, international relations or similar.

Proven experience within political stakeholder engagement or in the energy sector desirable but not essential.

Ability to act as a communication advisor to senior management and technical experts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with social media content generation and publishing.
