Background

Due to ongoing business expansion, an opportunity has arisen for the following role in ATC Systems Limited.

Title

Commissioning Manager

This is a full-time position which will be split between the ATC Head Office in Mallusk and time spent on site to assist the commissioning team as and when required. Ad-hoc travel will be required throughout UK and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:

To oversee the day-to-day functioning of the commissioning department including the organisation, planning and scheduling of the commissioning team to ensure an efficient use of our labour pool. Ensuring our control strategies, technical subs and desops are compliant with the specification. Liaising with the project dept and contract chain to ensure that relevant information is produced in a complete and timely format, in line with our internal policies. This will help us to deliver projects on time and within budget and not put our engineering team under unnecessary pressure. To ensure that internal processes relating to the commissioning team are adhered to.

Key Experience, Skills & Attributes:

The successful applicant should possess the following skills & attributes:

To possess excellent technical knowledge including at least 10 years' experience as a BMS engineer including experience of dealing with M&E customers and Main Contractors. To be commercially astute including the ability to negotiate with Contractors. To have the ability of remaining calm under pressure and to have a flexible work ethic with a focus on achieving targets.
Previous experience in managing a team of engineers would be an advantage.

Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are imperative.
