Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Data Analyst to join the successful lingerie & nightwear brand here at Boux Avenue.



This role is responsible for creating the commercial data insights used to drive our Digital, Store, Buying and Marketing decisions, supporting and evolving our brand strategy. Our ideal candidate will have several years' data analytics experience ideally working in a fashion retail brand. They will have a curious mind and be passionate about how data can be used to drive business growth. A confidence to bring their recommendations to life in front of our senior leadership team is essential for this role.



The core role responsibilities are:


Deliver a roadmap of regular business insights to support our key pillars of growth - customer, product, digital, and brand Interrogate, visualise, and interpret large volumes of data and present summarised outputs and commercial recommendations to internal stakeholders. Be the go-to person within the Boux Avenue team for all customer, channel, digital, and product data insight questions. Help identify opportunities to manage and integrate new data sources into the customer data model, e.g. market research data, marketing attribution data. To work collaboratively across teams to turn data insights into action and drive measurable improvements in business performance

At Boux Avenue, our customer data platform is based within the Google Cloud where we use Big Query SQL and Python for our analytics and Looker Studio, Google Sheets and Google Slides for reporting and visualisations. We also use Fospha for digital marketing attribution, ContentSquare for Online UX analytics and Google Analytics for online analytics.



Some of the projects we'd expect this role to work on:


Customer behavioural segmentation to identify our most valuable customers and their key attributes and building greater insights on frequency, retention and lifetime value dynamics Digital marketing attribution and media mix modelling to optimise our digital marketing investments Online conversion analytics to support our conversion testing programme Manage and evolve our insight dashboards and promote their use across the different teams.

Skills and experience:




Creative problem-solving - providing data to help grow the business A curious and inquisitive nature plus an ability to build strong relationships with senior level stakeholders Rigorously analytical - able to generate commercial insights from large datasets of customer and product data Strong communication skills - someone who can clearly communicate insights to senior stakeholders Commercially savvy - you can nurture opportunities and recognise where your time will provide the most value Broad marketing analytics experience ideally with customer segmentation and marketing attribution / media mix modelling Expert working knowledge of Google Big Query and Looker Studio Experience working with our Fospha and ContentSquare would be an advantage 3-4 years experience working within a similar role preferably in retail or fashion Educated to at least degree level in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
