GoodLaw Solicitors LLP are looking for a newly qualified solicitor or legal executive to join our Commercial Property department in Hove on a full time, Monday - Friday basis. We are a vibrant, friendly firm seeking the best talent to join and grow with us.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of commercial property work. The role has arisen due to significant growth in commercial property work. We are looking for the right person to support the Commercial Property Partner in Hove who will train and mentor the successful applicant, with a clear path to grow their career.

Some experience in the following fields will be expected:

Commercial landlord and tenant work Investment and asset management General commercial property development Experience of acting for banks and/or borrowers in secured lending matters
Daily tasks will, under the Partner's guidance, include:

1. Reviewing leases and supplemental documents when acting for tenants

2. Drafting leases and supplemental documents for landlord clients

3. Preparing draft reports on title, contracts and leases

4. Liaising with clients in order to progress transactions

5. Under the Partner's guidance and supervision, upkeep and maintenance of the precedent bank and creating workflows on the firm's case management system

6. Together with the Partner, overseeing submission of searches, registration, and file closure (with assistance from the department's administration assistant)

35 hour working week
