As Commercial Product Manager you\'ll have overall responsibility for the successful management of Information Security Assurance products (audit, certification, training, consulting) in the UK, ensuring they are aligned to market needs, properly designed and delivered, and meet the expectations of SGS Affiliates, external customers, and scheme owners.

You\'ll develop and drive the commercial strategy to ensure that the Assurance Services related to the Information Security Sector are commecially successful with long-term viability and high growth in this sector.

Qualifications

To succeed as the Commercial Product Manager you\'ll demonstrate the ability to execute a strategy and translate it into defined actions and will have strong working knowledge of the UK Certification industry, information security sector as well as an excellent understanding of certification audit and certification systems.

In addition to the above you\'ll also bring the following attributes;

  • Client focused - with ability to develop strong client-supplier relationships.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Change Management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in an global company and/or international environment.
  • Leadership and people management (experience in leading technical teams will be an advantage).
Desirable
  • Previous experience leading the information security sector portfolio with a certification body.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the various schemes within the Certification sector.
  • A proven track record in successfully growing a business to meet challenging commercial targets.
Additional Information

Travel as required for client/ internal meetings and presentations to promote capabilities/ initiatives and effect positive communication - Full driving license required.
