Job Description
Astute are working with a growing client in the Nuclear sector, who are looking for a Commercial Manager to support the Commercial Director across various business streams.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:
- Manage commercial risk and opportunity.
- Act as a single point of contact for all commercial, legal, financial, and administrative issues with the customer, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Develop and agree a commercial strategy which achieves the budget and maximises contribution.
- Lead, manage and develop the commercial team.
- Ensure commercial contractual arrangements comply with all the applicable legislative, regulatory, and corporate standards.
- Develop, implement, and continually review procedures and practice to ensure the effective commercial management of contracts.
- Ensure accurate cost value reconciliations are in place across all projects with monthly reviews and interrogation.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Management experience within a commercial team
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry
- Quantity Surveying background
What\'s on offer for this exciting role:
- \xc2\xa380,000- \xc2\xa385,000 salary plus car allowance
- Hybrid working
- 40 hours per week
