We have a vacancy within our Business Development Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Commercial Manager. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.
Shift Pattern:
39 hours each week with a flexible starting time between 07:00 and 08:00 Monday to Friday, with a flexible finish time between 16:00 and 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and on a Friday, a finish time of 12.00. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break between 12:00 and 12:30 Monday to Thursday. Additionally, you will have a 10-minute paid break each morning Monday to Friday and a 10-minute paid break each afternoon Monday to Thursday.

Role Accountabilities:
Alongside the supporting Manager, provide leadership, support development, and manage capacity of cross functional team and closely monitor the orderbook and be able to articulate trends and drivers
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends
Develop employees to ensure they are trained to carry out the job(s) assigned to them, and to positively contribute to the performance and agreed standards of the area and in line with corporate values
Prepare business cases for internal review and approval
Investigate performance of existing products to verify profitability, creating an action plan to address gaps
Alongside the Sales & Commercial Director, define and implement pricing strategies on new and existing product and lead negotiations for new contracts and contract renewal's
Commercial management of Long-Term Agreements (LTA's)
Administration of company Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's)
Management and close out of any contractual claims/disputes and management of contract review process
Manage RFQ process including Bid/No-Bid, customer communication, quote delivery and conversion whilst ensuring "buy in" from all internal departments.
Identify opportunities and lead efforts to win new business with existing customers considering capability offering across all Group companies
Support Group BDM in winning business with New Customers
Build, maintain and convert pipeline of opportunities to support the sites short-, medium- and long-term strategic goals
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
Sales and marketing activities to support business growth initiatives
Control SIOP inputs for New Business
Produce sales plans in support of short, medium and long term planning drawing information from multiple sources of reference
Ensure the function operates in accordance with any HSE policies and procedures to protect the safety and wellbeing of all staff and visitors.
Compliance with the company export security policy, operating procedures, export licensing controls, documentation & compliance including EAR & ITAR. Point of contact for related external audits with zero major NCR's being raised.
