Job Description
Our fantastic International law firm client is currently looking for a Paralegal to join their Commercial Litigation team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.
The Commercial Litigation team represent some of the biggest, most active global banks, financial institutions and corporates by finding solutions to their regulatory enforcement issues, class actions, and other major litigation risks, which further their clients\' strategic goals.
Duties as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal:
- Assist with document review and disclosure.
- Assisting with project work for the firm.
- Sight check and edit legal documents.
- Liaise with internal and external counsel, within the UK and global.
- Write concise memoranda to summarise research results.
- Maintain document, transcript, and work product databases.
- Assist with trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research.
- Organise and prepare chronologies, disclosure lists, exhibit lists and/or privilege logs.
- Coordinate work with outside vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines.
Candidates must have at least 12 months previous experience working within a Commercial Litigation department as a Paralegal within an international law firm environment. The core hours for this role are 9.30am \xe2\x80\x93 5.30pm and the salary for this role is highly competitive plus generous benefits!
