Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in gas installations,Service, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. As a Gas Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all gas installations comply with relevant safety standards. Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools effectively. Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, including pipe fitting and welding as necessary. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to management. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while on-site.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in gas engineering or related fields. The following qualifications are required :

Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience in plumbing and welding is highly desirable. A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transportation of equipment between sites. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues effectively. Must have Minimum 5 years' experience Willingness to travel Driving Licence - Company van will be provided
