Job Description

Our impressive client, based in Belfast, are currently seeking to grow their well-established fintech practice of the firm. Operating within a fairly niche area of law, our client provides legal services to a range of national and international clients to include organisations based in the UK, USA, Asia and Middle East. Mainly handling work on behalf of clients that operate within the \xe2\x80\x98Fintech\xe2\x80\x99 space, you can expect to handle some highly interesting and rewarding work.

Although in Law, a \xe2\x80\x98typical day\xe2\x80\x99 is few and far between, you can expect to regularly act on behalf of clients such as electronic money institutions and payment institutions with premises within the UK;

This could include drafting standard and bespoke terms and conditions, providing advice in line with the FCA guidelines and drafting and reviewing contracts such as service agreements and outsourcing contracts.

About you:

Passion first\xe2\x80\xa6\xe2\x80\xa6 this client is keen on hiring an individual that can demonstrate a genuie desire and interest to pursue their career within this area of law. Granted, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be very familiar with contracts, including drafting but attitude also goes a long way.

With regards to level of experience, ideally you\xe2\x80\x99ll offer at least a few years PQE but there\xe2\x80\x99s no limit, the hiring Partner is seeking someone to assist them with the delivery and growth of the business. Therefore, more experience the better.

Salary will be in line with the top end of the legal market, there will also be the ability to earn bonus and avail of other great benefits, to include health cover. The working week will be pleasing too\xe2\x80\xa6.. rarely are the office lights on beyond 5.30pm!
