Robert Half has partnered with a leading engineering company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Finance & Pricing Manager to join their team based in Stockbridge. As the Commercial Finance & Pricing Manager you will play a crucial role in providing financial modelling, data analysis, and finance business partnering to support the company\'s strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial information that will drive informed decision-making at all levels of the organisation. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and modelling for the formulation, analysis, and delivery of evidence-based propositions.
• Take ownership of the revenue model, ensuring accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with contract terms and industry standards.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans using long-term contract accounting principles, providing valuable insights to drive effective decision-making.
• Conduct meaningful variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and recommend corrective actions to optimize results.
• Act as a business partner to operational teams, holding them accountable for their forecasts and budgets, and providing necessary support and analysis to drive performance improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver valuable insights and analysis that will enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate financial models that align with sector best practices, ensuring they effectively represent bid solutions and can be utilized in contract delivery.
• Generate financial outputs including investment analysis, cost/benefit evaluations, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with reporting timetables, policies, and procedures established by the Group, Sector, and Business Unit.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex financial information into actionable insights
• IFRS 15 experience is a plus!
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Pricing and risk management experience
