Commercial and Marketing Assistant at Heswall Golf Club

About Us:

At Heswall Golf Club, we are dedicated to providing an unparalleled golfing experience and fostering a vibrant community for our members and visitors. We are currently seeking a proactive and creative Commercial and Marketing Assistant to join our team and help elevate our brand and marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our Club's future while enjoying the world of golf.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing a commercial and marketing strategy to promote Club events, memberships, and our clubhouse and golfing facilities

Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content and interacting with followers to enhance our online presence

Manage the design, external focus and members' pages of our website

Support the planning and execution of members and external functions, external competitions and tournaments, ensuring a seamless experience for members, guests and visitors

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the golfing community

Collaborate with the management team to create marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital campaigns

Coordination of member recruitment and retention

Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, assisting with inquiries and feedback where appropriate

Skills and experience:

Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, ideally within the sports or hospitality industry

Commercial awareness and the ability to develop partnerships

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools, and in the use of technology to deliver efficient processes

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Passion for golf and knowledge of the sport

Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
