Job Description
HedgerWay are currently partnered with a leading UK Property Developer in the recruitment of a Commercial Accountant to be based in London.
The role forms part of the Commercial Finance team and working alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role is a key bridge between finance and non-finance departments throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring up to date understanding of specific business segment performance as well as budget vs actual cost positions.
- Production of annual budget and re-forecasts, 5 year business plan and related analysis/insights.
- Support specific business segments with analysis/forecasting of leases/transactions.
- Production of clear and concise commentary on individual variances as well as high level top-line commentary for inclusion in management information presentations.
- Collection and dissemination of periodic reporting to senior management and shareholders.
- Contribute to finance systems discussions with a focus on efficiency and automation of key analysis.
- Review actuals compared to budget/re-forecasts produced, posting any adjustments.
- Collection and dissemination of periodic reporting to senior management and shareholders.
- Provide general finance, market and property analysis as required.
