Commercial Account Executive

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 \xe2\x80\x93 17:30

Located: Flitwick

Our client is an independent Broker, specialising in Commercial and Industrial Insurance. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their small friendly team.

The purpose of the role is to effectively handle all queries relating to both existing and new Commercial Insurance clients. Focus on retention of renewals. Assist clients in the handling of claims from the initial reporting all the way through to the settlement of the claim.

Responsibilities: Commercial Account Executive:

• Negotiate the renewal of Commercial policies. This includes insuring the premium and terms put forward to the clients still remain the most competitive and the most suitable for their needs.
• Respond to enquiries from clients, prospected clients or Underwriters/Insurers in a timely and professional manner.
• Effectively manage Commercial Claims to ensure clients receive fair treatment and to ensure the claims are being handled in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the advice given to clients remains professional and accurate at all times
• Keeping a written report of any telephone conversations and printing off each email relevant to a particular file.
• Must maintain an effective diary system to keep track of invoicing and upcoming renewals etc.

Experience / Skills: Commercial Account Executive

• Previous Commercial Insurance experience or Personal Lines
• Must have experience Acturis
• Able to communicate professionally with both insurers and customers whether in writing, face-to-face or by telephone
• Able to meet strict deadlines
• Manage and prioritise workloads to focus on the most urgent requirements
• Ability to work under pressure in a calm/professional manner
• Excellent attention to detail
