21 Hours over 3-4 days, Term time only plus 2 weeks (incl. INSET days) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team as CCF Adjutant. Our ideal candidate will have either Cadet Forces experience or an interest to join our Combined Cadet Force (CCF). The CCF Adjutant reports directly to the Assistant Headteacher and CCF Contingent Commander to assist with coordinating all activities related to Reading School CCF. What you\'ll do: Be responsible to the CCF Contingent Commander for the administration of the CCF in accordance with Ministry of Defence and Reading School guidelines. Support CCF training and activities, including liaising with the Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) to ensure relevant paperwork is in place within set deadlines. Support the team of Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) by ensuring relevant information about activities is circulated and that mandatory training is undertaken. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the management of incoming and outgoing communications. Provide a vital link between the school and CFAV community. What we\'re looking for: Excellent communication skills and a team player Strong ICT skills from a professional environment, including Microsoft Office. Experience of working with young people, ideally in a Cadet Forces environment. Experience of budget management and/or basic accounting skills. Someone who has undertaken an education and training role, or who has military instruction experience (Cadet, Reserve or Regular).
