The Academic Registrar\'s Department is looking to appoint two individuals to the newly created position of College Business Manager. The appointees will join a friendly team supporting business operations in either the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) or Westminster Business School (WBS).
The Academic Registrar\'s Department leads the University\'s academic administration and academic governance functions, and at College level ensures the effective delivery of activities, events and processes through the provision of professional support to Heads of College and their senior teams.
Managing a small team, the successful candidates will oversee the effective delivery of our business support function, overseeing routine operations and responding to new University and College priorities within a culture of continuous improvement. The postholder will support and deputise for the Director of College Operations, leading on discrete project work, and providing business intelligence to support strategic and operational decision making.
The successful candidate will be experienced in overseeing the delivery of a diverse operational portfolio to agreed objectives and deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering process improvement and project outcomes. The position will suit a strong communicator, able to form effective and supportive relationships with professional and academic colleagues, and with the skills to lead, motivate and develop a team of staff. You will be flexible, proactive, and able to problem solve within ambiguous and changing environments whilst maintaining a positive and service focused outlook.
