This role will fit into the new Digital Workplace team that has been set-up to drive our Digital agenda. You will be required to establish strong relationships with colleagues across different functions and countries throughout the company globally to help drive adoption of the O365 Collaboration tools available. You will effectively communicate with the business to gather, analyse and prioritise requirements for SharePoint and other O365 Applications e.g. Teams, OneDrive, Stream etc. Actively participate with business in day to day application activities, projects, application issues and where necessary provide guidance/consulting to Application Support team.

Operations:

  • Working to provide stable collaboration tools and delivering continuous improvement of the tools
  • Collaboration with key business users, vendors, consultants to proactively communicate with status of ongoing issues and developments within SLA as well as to implement solutions
  • Builds productive relationships and is a team player
  • Initiates and leads in identifying and implementing means to improve the qualities and efficiencies of IT processes, systems, and results.
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Adheres to governance to ensure compliance
  • Ensures documentation is kept upto date and relevant
  • Follows IT Support processes and applies best practices
  • Enhances and delivers systems that are in alignment with the digital vision/strategy
Projects:
  • Involved in projects and minor/major enhancements (following the change process, defining requirements, business cases and following the project lifecycle)
  • Effectively leads in soliciting, gathering and documenting requirements (user requirements, business process requirements, and performance requirements) from business users using appropriate mechanisms and following Seqirus standards.
  • Delivers projects/tools that are part of the Digital workplace and provide business benefit and an enhanced user experience.
User Experience:
  • Working with the team to promote best practise/use of the collaboration tools available and provide guidance to enhance the user experience
  • Gathering requirements and coming up with ways to improve user experience across the collaboration tools
  • Creating and promoting use cases, tips and tricks etc
  • Creating training documentation as well as delivering training where required
  • Active participant in the SharePoint user community to drive best use and ensure governance is being adhered to
Skills and experience required:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience; educational concentration in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT working within an applicable function that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Experience of a highly regulated IT environment or good documentation culture, including formal change management processes. Pharmaceutical industry experience and GAMP training / qualifications an advantage
Essential:
  • Understanding of and practical experience in Microsoft O365 collaboration tools; with in-depth knowledge around SharePoint (preferably SharePoint Online)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills
  • Experience operating with outsourced service providers in an international context
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent Requirements Gathering and testing skills
  • Ability to develop and train others on business process, knowledge and acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Knowledgeable with all aspects of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience of a highly regulated IT environment or good documentation culture, including formal change management processes
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability, great attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others and develop a good understanding of business knowledge
  • ITIL qualified, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
Preferred/Desired:
  • Experience of using and an understanding of other Microsoft O365 collaboration tools; including but not limited to Teams, OneDrive, Stream, Delve and other third party tools that supplement e.g Nintex, ShareGate
  • Experience of data migrations
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical industry preferable
  • Experience/understanding of the full Office 365 suite (including Azure)
