Your key duties and responsibilities will be:

Oversee day to day operation of the coffee shop.
Coaching and mentoring a team of baristas
Customer service is a priority for this role. We want to be known for our customer service, great coffee and delicious cakes & paninis.
You will need to be a highly experienced barista and have good knowledge of speciality coffees and other hot and cold beverages.
You must be able to deliver high quality sandwiches, paninis and other foods at a fast pace and also train staff to be able to do the same.
Processing transactions on electronic till system
Cash handling and reconciliation at the end of every shift
Food displays are kept fully stocked at all times
Stock ordering
You will control all coffee shop associated costs and drive revenues through upselling.
You will lead the performance of the coffee shop ensuring it is effectively managed through a focus on training, problem resolution and coaching.
To be successful in this role the candidate must be flexible and multi-skilled as you may be asked to do different tasks to meet the guest's needs. You will also need to be a highly organised individual with an eye for detail. This is a hands on role with high visibility. You must cope well under pressure and deal effectively with any crisis situations.

Pay: 12.22 per hour
