Job Summary:

Ginger & Moore is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. You will lead a passionate team, maintain high standards of customer service, manage inventory, and ensure efficient, profitable operations. The role requires proven management experience in hospitality, strong food safety knowledge, and a hands-on, positive approach. A creative passion for food and cooking is a bonus!

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer experience Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, providing coaching and performance feedback Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation Manage inventory and supplier relationships, ensuring stock levels are maintained Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, adhering to all health and safety standards Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally Monitor sales, control costs, and help achieve financial targets Manage and update the POS system Support marketing initiatives to drive footfall and promote the brand Ensure full compliance with company policies and health regulations

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a coffee shop manager (or similar hospitality management role) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills In-depth knowledge of cafe operations and specialty coffee Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)

Working Conditions:

Must be available to work weekends and bank holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Ginger & Moore is closed over Christmas, Easter, and for two weeks in summer, offering valuable work-life balance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.50-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
