Full-Time Coffee Shop Assistant/Barista - Cake Create (NW7 1LY)

We're looking for a

to join our team at

Cake Create

, a busy and vibrant coffee shop located in

North West London (NW7 1LY)

You will need to be able to

open the coffee shop at 8:00 AM

and work until approximately

4:00 PM

.

Weekend working is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages to a high standard. Assist in food preparation, including pastries, sandwiches, and light snacks, while following food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service -- welcoming guests, taking orders, and responding to any inquiries with a positive attitude. Support catering operations for events as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including equipment, workstations, and dining areas. Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold all health, hygiene, and safety standards.

Hours:

Full-time (Approximately 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Weekend shifts are required.

Requirements:

Experience working in a coffee shop or similar hospitality setting is essential.

Confident in preparing barista-quality coffee and handling busy service periods. Knowledge of food safety practices. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently, stay organised, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine love for coffee and customer interaction.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 11.45-12.63 per hour
