Coach builder / Fitter

Gross rate: \xc2\xa322.00 per hour

Ltd Company / Umbrella Contract (Outside IR35)

3-Month rolling contract

Ballymena \xe2\x80\x93 Northern Ireland

This well-established company is currently going through a rapid growth phase and is looking to increase the size of their manufacturing facility. Having won numerous projects with major companies, this business is now looking to add several Coach builders / Fitters to ensure that the product is delivered on time and to budget. Excellent working environment is offered, and they are looking for individuals with excellent practical hands-on skills.

The role of a Coach builder role will involve:

• Utilising an assembly kit and following Basic Engineering drawings
• Assembling a wide variety of mechanical systems using fabricated parts
• Manual construction of metal, wood and laminate components using nuts, bolts, and rivets
• Utilising 5S to ensure that you are working in a clean & tidy environment
• Adhere to the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards and produce high quality work
• Using hand tools and some power tools to assemble the equipment
• Day Shift Pattern

The role of a Coach builder will possess the following skills & attributes:

• An understanding of mechanical assembly, this could be in any role or environment

• Mechanical assembly of equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Working on cars / trucks / bikes \xe2\x80\x93 maintenance or new build
• Construction of mechanical equipment on new offices or factories
• Apprentice trained in a relevant practical discipline \xe2\x80\x93 fitter, mechanic, glazing, plumbing, carpentry etc.
• Be able to use hand tools e.g., Hammers, wrenches, spanners, screwdrivers, pliers, clamps and allen keys
• Hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic
• Desire and ability to learn
• Good communication skills
