The Role:

We are looking for a CNC Turner or CNC Lathe Programmer Setter to join our impressive manufacturing facility that produce fasteners and specialist precision components to tight tolerances across a wide range of industries.

Our factory is well organized with a range of CNC Sliding Head machines. Our team of engineers are experienced, dedicated and love an engineering challenge. We are progressive in our engineering capabilities and our operational processes which includes a bespoke in-house production system to track jobs throughout the manufacturing process.

This role will suit a CNC Turner/Programmer or CNC Machinist that really wants to develop their skills and machining techniques. As our work is bespoke, we have a wide variety of jobs to work on, meaning you will never get bored setting the same jobs day in day out!

Key responsibilities of the role

As CNC Turner you will be responsible for:

Running a section within our CNC department. Setting and operating jobs from start to finish. You will be responsible for 3 machines, 2 x Citizen L20's and a Citizen L32. Changing of tips, tools, drills and inserts into CNC sliding head machines to manufacture metal components. Measuring parts to engineering drawings using tools such as Venier Calipers, micrometers and ring gauges. Using shadowgraphs. Logging counts and measurement onto our bespoke production system.

The successful candidate

The ideal candidate must be an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator with experience of programming, setting and operating Citizen L20 and Citizen L32 machines. You will be experienced in using FANUC controls to set machines.

Hours - 7am-4pm Mon to Friday. Flexi start/finish times 34 days annual leave. Overtime rates apply. Twice yearly company bonus scheme. Twice yearly team events
