Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC manufacturing and the ability to operate and programme lathes effectively. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in the fabrication of components, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Duties

Program CNC lathes using Fanuc control Set up and operate CNC turning machines, ensuring optimal machine performance. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Manufacture aerospace components to AS9100 standards and customer-specific requirements. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining processes. Communicate closely with quality inspectors and carring in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Turner Programmer in an aerospace manufacturing environment it's a key factor. Strong knowledge of aerospace materials Proficient in offline and/or on-machine programming. Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Ability to work to tight tolerances (+/- 0.01mm or tighter). Familiarity with aerospace quality systems (AS9100) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
