CNC Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to fabricate precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Operate CNC router. Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to set up machines accurately. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products using measuring tools and gauges. Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and reduce waste. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Experience with materials handling and knowledge of various fabrication techniques. Materials include Aluminium, ACM, Acrylics, Foamex, MDF Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Vcarve/Adobe illustrator Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Previous or assembly is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Signage background/knowledge a bonus but not crucial
