Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machinery and possess mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble components with precision. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, as well as experience with logic controllers and hand tools. The CNC Programmer will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines to ensure high-quality production. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately. Operate CNC machinery, including mills, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assemble parts and perform quality checks on finished products. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and resolve any technical issues. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Utilise hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks as required. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for designing components. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in CNC programming. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery, including mills. Experience in fabricating and assembling components using hand tools. A background in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.
