Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have an amazing permanent vacancy with a client in the NG4 area of Nottingham for a skilled CNC Machinist. As a CNC Machinist within this business no 2 days should be the same with the vast amount of clients and orders being processed so expect your days to be varied and challenging to ensure orders are sent by customer deadlines!

About the Client:

Our client is a family run company that has been operational for over half a century offering design, production and testing services to its clients which can be based not only in the UK but also globally.

Benefits & Pay Rates:

• \xc2\xa312.50-\xc2\xa314.00 per hour dependant on experience
• Stable day shift (07.30-15.30 Monday to Friday)
• Overtime paid at a premium rate
• On site car parking
• Pension scheme
• Immediate start on a permanent contract

This role will require candidates to:

• Work on a stable day shift
• Learn on the job to up-skill yourself
• Setting and operating horizontal and vertical CNC borers.
• CADCAM experience is an advantage.

What we need from you:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• Commitment to learn the job and want a permanent placement that could lead to progression within the company
• To be physically fit and knowlegdable on how to use a CNC Machine.
