Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a CNC Miller Setter Operator. This Operator role is based in Bristol and offers a favourable hourly contract rate.

As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met or improved, and high-quality parts produced within required performance, cost and delivery targets.

In your first few weeks in this CNC Miller Setter Operator role, you can expect to:

• Attend SQDCP meetings in assigned areas
• Record and assist the Manufacturing Group Leader in improving the 5S organisation of the assigned team areas and personal responsibility for machines being operated
• Ensure correct materials, route cards and drawings are used to produce components
• Set up tools, offsets, etc., ready for your operation to commence and assist Operators where appropriate.
• Operate on Heidenhain control systems

• Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous aerospace experience.
