Job Description

Job Overview:

Responsible for setting up, operating, and programming a CNC milling machine (specifically Bridgeport VMC with Heidenhain controls). Set up and operate surface and cylindrical grinding machines; training will be available. Interpret engineering drawings and work within strict tolerances. Perform self-inspections to ensure work consistently meets quality and company standards. Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Adapt to various workstations as required by job demands. Maintain a flexible attitude towards overtime work.

Working Hours:

Day shift from Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours per week (8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday; 8 am - 1 pm, Friday).

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC milling processes Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks for design and fabrication Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) Familiarity with hand tools, materials handling, and tooling Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations Background in assembly and welding techniques is a plus Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
