We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery to produce precision components. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files to set up and programme machines accurately.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Fabricate components using various materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Assemble parts as required, following precise instructions for assembly processes.
Conduct quality checks on finished products, utilising basic maths skills for measurements and adjustments.
Handle materials safely throughout the production process, maintaining an organised workspace.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Skills
CAM programming would be an advantage.
Familiarity with tooling techniques and equipment used in CNC machining processes.
Competence in assembling complex components accurately and efficiently.
Experience in materials handling within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
