Job Description
Morson are exclusively recruiting for CNC Machinists ideally with 5 Axis experience. These positions are initially for 6 months although likely to be long-term.
MUST HOLD COPIES /PROOF OF APPRENTICESHIP PAPERWORK
(i.e Apprenticeship certificate OR NVQ Level 3 OR City & Guilds 2 OR 3)
To operate as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Tasks will be undertaken and worked through the use of:
- Machining of parts aircraft parts to drawing specification
- Checking of parts using conventional equipment including height gauges
- Micrometers, vernier, calipers to meet required specification
- Working to engineering drawings
- Manufacturing to defined high tolerances
- Manually or mechanically move components to ensure the effective flow of production
- Deburring for onward safe handling only
\xc2\xa322.41 and all overtime paid at \xc2\xa326.90 When training achieved ( usually between 3 and 6 months) rates increase to \xc2\xa323.34 with overtime paid at \xc2\xa328.01
PLUS 28 Days holiday allowance
Working Hours /4 week shift pattern
Working 7am to 6.45pm
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2 - Thursday and Friday
Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Week 4 Thursday and Friday
