Fuel Proof Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of world-class fuel storage tanks and bowsers, for global customers in practically every industry. We are currently recruiting for a CNC machine operative to join the team in the busy metal processing department of our Heysham manufacturing and assembly facility.

We're looking for a hard-working individual able to keep up with our fast-paced work environment, with the ability to work well individually and as part of a team. There are opportunities to be trained on a wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment, and flexibility is a key requirement of this role. Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is not essential as full training will be provided. Some heavy lifting will be required.

We are seeking a positive, self-motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our busy production facility, operating:

Bystronic Fibre laser cutter Bystronic press brake Transfluid tube bender Davi Plate rollers Webber Linisher Guillotine

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications, ensuring precision and quality. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed. Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain a clean workspace. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Ability to handle heavy lifting and materials safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience with hand tools

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
