Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. This role requires mechanical knowledge and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all components are fabricated and assembled to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various machining operations. Interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications to create precise machining instructions. Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Fabricate parts using various materials while maintaining tight tolerances. Assemble components as per engineering specifications, ensuring functionality and quality. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve processes and tooling. Manage materials handling within the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Proficient in CAD software, with experience in SolidWorks being highly advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge, including understanding of tooling and fabrication processes. Experience with logic controllers is preferred for effective machine operation. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus, enhancing versatility in component assembly. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
