Your Role

The Clubhouse Lead will provide a wide variety of service coordinating duties including accessing community-based services, assisting members in the development and evaluation of their needs, and devising individual plans that meet their requirements. You will engage and oversee the Clubhouses which will involve meaningful work, recreational and leisure activities to ensure clubhouse members feel empowered. The role will also include designing and overseeing a Clubhouse 'lite' model across all Restart South Central offices, to enable customers to access some meaningful Clubhouse activities and access the Fedcap Clubhouse community across our area of delivery.


What is a Clubhouse?

A Clubhouse is an accredited, non-clinical model of recovery focussed on offering people living with mental health issues an opportunity to engage in meaningful work, and for structure, routine, friendship, and social interaction in a single caring and safe environment. This social and economic inclusion helps support participant progression towards employment, support improved health outcomes and reduced reliance on additional health care support.


Your Responsibilities

Maintain enthusiasm, commitment, and belief in the Clubhouse model Work side-by-side with Clubhouse members to support operations including catering, facilitating meetings, producing in-house newsletters, maintaining administrative needs, leading on work and leisure activities Assist members with job searching, and educational and training opportunities in the community Connecting members to community resources and conducting outreach activities to referral sources Line-manage Clubhouse Unit Coordinators across South Central locations (Oxford down to Brighton).

Enthusiasm, self-drive and commitment to take ownership of Clubhouse delivery Excellent organisational and planning skills Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills Ability to facilitate, lead and engage customers on multiple activities throughout the day Experience working with customers with complex mental health needs
