THE ROLE
This is an exciting time to join the Woodland Trust. We are on a journey of transformation as we continually improve our infrastructure to support our range of pioneering projects within conservation. We are moving to a Dynamics and Azure based infrastructure. The successful applicant will take a lead role within our infrastructure function, deputising for the team manager when required and bringing the team along with you as you develop new architecture and continue to explore the possibilities of Azure as the Trust grows.
This is a Hybrid working role, where you\xe2\x80\x99ll work part of your time at home and part of the time from our Head Office based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Our Hybrid Working Policy is flexible, and the frequency of time spent in your contracted office will vary across teams and job roles.
THE CANDIDATE
You will have a passion for data and be motivated by exploring how to enhance both security and the effectiveness of smooth and efficient migrations. You will be involved in the ongoing development of our data and infrastructure strategy. This is an opportunity to explore new and creative ways to support, develop and enhance our functions and security. You will be passionate about technology and conservation and finding new ways to combine these to support the impact and effectiveness of the Trust\'s activities. It is an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise across the Trust\'s varied operations. We are committed to developing our team at the Trust. You will be free to build on your existing knowledge and explore new solutions and there will be the the chance to develop into an architect role as the Trust continues to grow.
