Cloud and Infrastructure Team Leader - Harlow District Council Harlow District Council Permanent, Full Time \xc2\xa346,464 to \xc2\xa348,474 per annum Location: Harlow Closing Date: 10th December 2023 Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Harlow Council to recruit a Cloud and Infrastructure Team Leader. Contract type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (banking 30 minutes per week to be used towards the shut down between Christmas and New Year) The Opportunity As the Cloud and Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be responsible for the management and delivery towards continual improvement, maintenance and optimisation of the Council\'s internal and cloud infrastructure and systems. You will be responsible for technical projects and delivery utilising resource within the team and procuring external services where required, whilst managing day to day function and implementing processes for maintenance and upgrades within the team. To be successful in this role you will require extensive knowledge and experience managing Microsoft Azure/Entra, Teams, SharePoint, Virtualisation and you will support the wider Council with its migration to this platform from its current on-premises setup, ensuring all services remain functional, whilst improving the ICT landscape for the Council and its residents. Reporting directly to the ICT and Digital Services Manager, your keen organisation skills and utilisation of our ITSM system will allow you to capture detailed records of changes and projects and the responsibility of the infrastructure team who you will be a direct report for. The Council is currently within a migration to Cloud and this role will be responsible and ensure best practice and innovation is the focal point of delivering these services to our userbase. The role will be primarily on-site within the office, but hybrid working is possible on request. There is also an opportunity to study/learn within this post and overtime pay will be available where needed to deliver projects and minimise disruption to services.
