Job Description

Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 8A Clinical Trials Pharmacist to work with a client of ours based in Manchester.

The pay for this position is \xc2\xa325-\xc2\xa330 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
Shift Pattern: 9am to 5pm

Specific Skills: Registered Pharmacist (GPhC) with MPharm degree, experience of day to day management of clinical trials including set up, amendments and close downs, drug history taking and processing of discharge prescriptions.

UK Hospital experience on inpatient wards.

Clinical screening and accuracy checking in inpatient, outpatient pharmacy and inpatient ward areas. Patient counselling and signposting to other services as appropriate. Acting as responsible pharmacist for GPhC registered premises.

As a clinical pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing the pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials. You will work closely with the clinical trial team to develop drug protocols, prepare study medication, and ensure that the study medication is dispensed and used in compliance with the protocol.

Successful candidates must hold an MPharm degree, be GPHC registered and have experience working as a clinical trials pharmacist.
