Job Title: Clinical Lead (RGN) - Nursing Home - Selby YO8

Location: Selby, YO8

Hours: Full-Time Days (42.75 hours per week)

Salary: 22.00 per hour + Paid Breaks

### About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead (RGN) to join our well-established nursing home in Selby (YO8). This is a senior clinical role where you'll provide leadership to our care team while maintaining hands-on nursing care. The ideal candidate will have extensive care home experience and a passion for delivering outstanding elderly care.

### Key Responsibilities:

? Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing/care staff

? Oversee and participate in medication rounds and treatments

? Take shift charge during day shifts, ensuring high standards of care

? Work closely with the Deputy Manager and Home Manager

? Conduct clinical audits and ensure CQC compliance

? Mentor and support junior staff and student nurses

? Develop and update care plans and clinical policies

### ? Essential Requirements:

? Active NMC Pin (RGN) with minimum 5 years' care home experience

? Proven experience in a clinical leadership/supervisory role

? Excellent knowledge of NMC standards and CQC requirements

? Strong medication management skills

? Ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions

? Experience with elderly care, dementia care and complex needs

### Desirable Skills:

- Experience as Ward Sister, Deputy Manager or similar

- Qualification in mentorship or clinical supervision

- Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement
