Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a challenge in a leadership role?



We are currently seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our function! Our next step in transforming the way we deliver mental health care in Oxfordshire, is growing our offer for those with complex psychosis and rehabilitation needs. In this post you will, develop and share your understanding of the needs of the residents at the Response Housing, based in Littlemore.



We are proactively growing our AHP and clinical specialist workforce. This role is part of a larger drive to ensure access to occupational therapy for our service users in the community and ensure we have clinical specialists working with the people with the most complex needs.



This job will see you providing evidenced-based, trauma informed occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals where they live. Working in partnership with Response (a mental health housing provider) to support and develop the quality and consistency of the recovery interventions delivered by the whole team.



Your colleagues and direct network will include housing support staff and the clinical MDT based at the Recovery Campus. You will have a peer network of clinical lead occupational therapists and be clinical supervised by an Occupational Therapist, as well as having access to the active AHP network across the trust and training coordinated by our Practice Development Lead for Occupational Therapy.



As the Band 7 OT in this post you will work in a recovery-focused, trauma informed way providing 1:1 occupational therapy assessments and interventions with a reablement, recovery and rehabilitation focus to those housed at the Response Housing Campus.



This will include:



Assess individuals' needs and functioning to determine rehab potential and suitable housing.



Plan and deliver evidence-based, client-centered Occupational Therapy; lead projects and document all stages.



Use MOHO and other standard assessments relevant to the clinical setting.



Provide 1:1, trauma-informed, recovery-focused OT interventions.



Support independent living through interventions in self-care, productivity, leisure, and daily activities.
