Working closely with the Care Group and other clinical leads,the post holder takes the Lead for all aspects of Diabetes andEndocrinology to support the delivery of the clinical andoperational aspects of the Trust's strategy and the NHSOperating Framework.As the Clinical Lead for the service the post holder will be jointlyresponsible for ensuring that the service operates fully withinthe overall objectives and policies of the Trust and withinobjectives, targets, quality standards and financial controls,and to support the achievement of the WHH care group levelobjectives.Main duties of the jobThe clinical lead will work together with the William Harvey Care Group and their Network Leads in providing leadership and management, and will have shared responsibility for the operational performance, clinical quality, safety and financial management of the service.   • CCT Specialist Registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview date
