At Window to the Womb Exeter, we are specialists in Obstetric and Gynae scans. We perform diagnostic scans to pre menopausal ladies and pregnant ladies. We cover fertility and women's health scans and blood tests. During pregnancy we scan from 6 weeks to birth. Our pregnancy scans identify baby's gender, capturing 4D images, growth scans and medical scans. We are a locally owned clinic part of the bigger franchise Window to the Womb. This creates a great support structure for both our staff and customers.

A unique opportunity has arisen for someone to join our senior team. This currently consists of the Registered Clinic Manager and one Senior Supervisor. This position is for a clinic supervisor to work during our weekdays shifts Tuesday - Friday.. You will report directly to the Registered Clinic Manager and take responsibility for the day to day running of the clinic.

We are looking for a very confident and bubbly individual with the charisma and ability to build strong rapport with our families and staff, and is able to offer a mature and and sensitive approach to manage a difficult conversations when required. As clinic supervisor you will be required to support our registered manager and work closely with the other senior supervisor. You will also be given the independence to run the clinic yourself. You will be in charge of a team of scan assistants.

We are looking for you to work during our weekday shifts (approximately 20 hours a week):

Tuesday 11-7

Wednesday 6-9

Thursday 3-9

Friday 3-8

We are also open Weekends where cover may be available

Saturday 10-6

Sunday 10-6

Our window to the womb scan assistants and supervisors provide the vital link between the scanner (sonographer) and the family ensuring that from the moment the family arrives, their experience is optimised and the relationship with the customer is fully developed. As a supervisor you will need to set a strong example in being able to do this.

The role in the clinic involves three positions and as a clinic supervisor you will be trained to cover all three positions confidently and be able to support new staff in these areas.

Main Duties



1. To ensure that all sonographers are providing diagnostic scans in accordance which Window to the Womb scan protocols

2. To support the manager to effectively support the day to day running of clinic and support all clinic staff

3. Responsible for the safety, care and wellbeing of all users of the service

4. To thoroughly understand, implement, adhere to and monitor the requirements and regulations which applies to a service that is regulated by the CQC in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act.

5. Ensuring that the service provision in both in line with the brand expectations and is consistently of the highest quality.

Full training is provided but supervisor experience and the ability to learn fast and think on your feet is desirable.

Skills Ideally held:

Supervising experience Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making Detail-oriented and organized approach to work An ability to work as a team.
